Stuart - Monday January 9, 2023: Motorists are advised that Dixie Highway (formerly SR707) will be closed to vehicular traffic from Albany Road (south of the old Roosevelt Bridge) to Fern Street (north of St. Lucie River drawbridge at the FEC railroad crossing) beginning at 5 a.m., Tuesday, January 10 through 5 p.m., Monday, January 16 for the 49th Annual Stuart Boat Show.
To minimize congestion at the intersection of Dixie Highway at Wright Boulevard and Dixie Highway at Joan Jefferson Way, the detour plan directs traffic through Baker Road on the north and West Ocean on the south (exhibit attached).
Two show parking lots on each side of the show are available for attendees and vendors—one grass lot at the north end of the show, located at 827 NW Dixie Highway, Stuart (entrance on the corner of NW Dixie Hwy. and NW Wright Blvd.) and one at the south end located at Witham Airport (entrance on SE Flying Fortress Lane off Monterey Road) that offers a park and ride option.
