191 Police Explorers ages 13 to 21 and 50 Police Advisors from 18 law enforcement agency explorer posts throughout Florida will be attending this weekend’s Delegates Conference which will help train and prepare the Police Explorers for their annual state competition held this June in Orlando.

Police Explorers will participate in numerous law enforcement training scenarios this weekend to include officer down/rescue, active threat, building searches, officer ambush, model traffic stops, VIRTUA, and a shooting competition.

The Florida Association of Police Explorers (F.A.P.E.) was organized in 1971 to bring Law Enforcement Explorers together from around the State of Florida and provide an opportunity for young adults between the ages of 13 to 21 to learn about and prepare for a future career in law enforcement.
