Palm Beach County - Thursday February 9, 2023: Two people died after their SUV was struck by a Brightline train Wednesday evening around 8 p.m.
According to a post on the Delray Beach Police Department Twitter feed, the crash occurred at Lindell Blvd and Old Dixie Highway in Delray Beach.
Witnesses say the vehicle was on the tracks when it struck by the southbound train, according to the Twitter post.
Brightline has not yet responded to a request for comment.
