Port St. Lucie - Friday February 17, 2023: An 18-year-old teen was arrested Thursday in Port St. Lucie for driving 95 mph in a 45 mph zone on Crosstown Parkway.
Port St. Lucie Police Traffic Officers were conducting speed checks in an effort to crack down on aggressive driving when the teen ran a red light on U.S. #1. A motorcycle patrol officer pulled him over.
The young man was charged with reckless driving and he was also cited for having an illegal modified exhaust. He will now have to appear before a judge to explain his actions.
