St. Lucie County Woman Wins $1-Million Playing Scratch Off Game

Port St. Lucie - Tuesday February 21, 2023: The Florida Lottery has announced that 55-year-old Nena Nau of  Port St. Lucie has won a $1 million prize playing the 500X The Cash Scratch-Off game.

She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000. She collected her prize at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

 Nau purchased her winning ticket at the Cumberland Farms convenience store located at 3174 Southwest Port St. Lucie Boulevard in Port St. Lucie. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.  

The $50 game, 500X THE CASH, features a top prize of $25 million, the largest ever offered on a Florida Scratch-Off game.

Since inception, Scratch-Off games have generated more than $17.69 billion for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
