Port St. Lucie Hazardous Waste Collection Day Saturday March 11

Port St. Lucie - Sunday March 5, 2023: Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful (KPSLB) is encouraging residents in the City and County to take advantage the free Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Day.

The service is available on Saturday March 11 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Public Works Complex at 450 S.W. Thornhill Drive in Port St. Lucie. Its an
environmentally safe way to dispose of hazardous household waste and all you have to do is bring your waste in and drop it off.

The kinds of items that you can drop off, at no cost, are things like bug sprays, computers/electronics, drain cleaners, fire extinguishers, fuels, fluorescent light bulbs, and tubes. Household fats, oils or grease accumulated from cooking, frying, and general food preparation will be accepted in less than 5-gallon containers.

Make sure you bring an ID showing your address to verify that you are a Port St. Lucie or St. Lucie County resident and only households, not businesses, may use the service to dispose of hazardous waste.

No commercial, institutional, or agri-business waste will be accepted.
